Brad Pitt's World War Z Film Raided Counterterrorism Officials.

Brad Pitt's zombie flick World War Z  is already over budget and now the Hungarian government has just made things worse. News has broke that the set was raided by Hungarian Counterterrorism police who confiscated a huge stash of guns meant for use on the zombie flick.

The nearly 100 weapons, including AK-47s and sniper rifles, had live ammo in them! Hungarian authorities admitted to the press that their raid was perfectly legal as the weapons for World War Z had not been disabled as they are supposed to be when used as props,  the weapons had not been properly deactivated and could easily be used to fire the live ammunition already in them.

Janos Hajdu, head of Hungary's Counterterrorism Center, said Tuesday the weapons arrived from London to Budapest's Ferenc Liszt Airport on Saturday and were discovered at a nearby duty free zone.

Hajdu says he cannot confirm if the weapons were going to be used by the film or not, so the weapons were confiscated and the case is under investigation.

Adam Goodman, whose company is providing the production services, declined to comment on the links between the seized weapons and the film. He says, "we are preparing as planned. We are not changing our schedule".

A publicist for the film was quick to issue a statement. “We are working with the authorities to resolve the matter and have no further comment at this time.”

What do you think of Brad Pitt's production bringing overseas loaded live weapons as props?
